4/30 FPS SCSI DISK SETUP<br />

NOTE: The Access Level 2, Prepare CINE Disk <strong>com</strong>mand when used with an<br />

IP-SCSI option does not check for disk media errors nor does it<br />

correct for disk errors.<br />

The procedure assumes the IP-SCSI sub-system is already installed in the<br />

electronics box.<br />

SETUP PROCEDURE, FIRST TIME IP-SCSI<br />

INSTALLATION<br />

In Access Level 2, the Prepare CINE Disk <strong>com</strong>mand must always be run<br />

after:<br />

Line Frequency (Hz) is changed in the Set Configurations menu<br />

Cine Disk parameters are changed in the Set Configurations menu<br />

A new or different SCSI disk drive is installed.<br />

1. Insert the OEC access disk.<br />

2. Press Setup Options keyboard.<br />

3. The screen displays:<br />

SETUP OPTIONS<br />

Set Today's Date<br />

Set the Correct Time<br />

Software ID Screen<br />

Access Level 2 (<strong>Service</strong>)<br />

4. Select Access Level 2 (<strong>Service</strong>), then press ENTER.<br />

5. The screen displays:<br />

<strong>Service</strong> Options<br />

Run System Diagnostics<br />

Prepare CINE Disk<br />

Backup MainFrame Disk<br />

Video Calibration<br />

Access Mainframe Menu<br />

Shot Log File<br />

System Configuration<br />

6. Select System Configuration, then press ENTER.
