Students are acquainted with the main spheres of research within the scope of “State – Politics – Society”
relationship. Lectures and workshops are aimed at developing students’ understanding of the basic
concepts and categories of political science: state, policy and politics, civic society, political regime,
political parties, political power, political elite, etc. The course develops students’ skills to substantiate and
demonstrate the connection existing between an individual and political processes in society, and to
independently and scientifically analyze politics and state affairs.
