In the focus of the course – study of the limited space. The attention is drawn to the peculiarities of the
local study, the usage specificity of historic sources and literature is explained. Possibilities of using oral
historic sources are characterized. Within the framework of the course the experience of the European and
American scientists in the field of local history study is analyzed.
