Kursa anotācija angļu valodā:
The course introduces students to the significance of archeology in studying, promotion and preservation
of the cultural heritage. The functions of archeological material are discussed in relation to
characterization and comparing of different cultures and in ascertaining evolution. Concurrently, the skills
of students are developed to interpret the cultural heritage on the basis of the archeological material (if no
written sources are available).
