Die Wiederentdeckung von Afrikas Landwirtschaft
durch die Entwicklungspolitik
In den vergangenen Jahren sind zahlreiche Initiativen gestartet worden,
die sich auf ein stärkeres Engagement der Politik für die Landwirtschaft
in Afrika als Wachstumsmotor richten – und alle eine Armutsminderung
(»Pro-poor Growth«) versprechen. Im Hintergrund fand dabei
vielfach eine Einfl ußnahme und Mitarbeit der Agroindustrie und ihrer
Lobby-Organisationen statt, während die Zivilgesellschaft oder gar die
Bauern selbst kaum beteiligt waren:

viel umfangreicher sind als die Planungen für die Landwirtschaft.
