Benedikt Schmidt is Research Associate at SAP Research and Ph.D. student in <strong>the</strong> telecooperation group
at University <strong>of</strong> Technology Darmstadt. He received his Diploma in Computer Science 2009 and his Diploma
in Media studies in 2008 from <strong>the</strong> University <strong>of</strong> Paderborn, Germany. Benedikt works on proactive
knowledge worker support.
Alexander Schneider is studying Information Systems at <strong>the</strong> Technische Universität München. In 2009 he
achieved his Bachelor’s degree and is now a Master’s candidate. His research is mostly concerned with web
based collaboration systems and enterprise architecture management.
Camilo Augusto Sequeira-has a Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering from Catholic University, Rio de
Janeiro, and has taught in both undergraduate and graduate programs. He has an MBA from Salford
University, England. Camilo has been top executive for multinational companies. He is currently a consultant
and a researcher for <strong>the</strong> Institute <strong>of</strong> Energy <strong>of</strong> PUC-Rio.
Elena Shakina has defended <strong>the</strong> <strong>the</strong>sis and got a degree “Candidate <strong>of</strong> Science” in 2008. She has been
working for economic department <strong>of</strong> Higher School <strong>of</strong> Economics in Perm since 2003. Her research line is
connected with strategic financial management, as well as intellectual capital evaluation She has12
publications, most <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>m are academic papers.
Mehdi Shami Zanjani is Associate Pr<strong>of</strong>essor <strong>of</strong> IT Management at <strong>the</strong> Faculty <strong>of</strong> Management, University <strong>of</strong>
Tehran. His current research interests are in knowledge management and project management. He has a
bachelor’s degree in industrial management, a master’s degree in information technology management, and
a PhD in systems management from <strong>the</strong> University <strong>of</strong> Tehran.
Sakura Shimada is a PhD student at Paris Dauphine University, Organizational and Strategic management
field <strong>of</strong> research. Her <strong>the</strong>sis is about linking <strong>the</strong> intergenerational transmission <strong>of</strong> knowledge and
competencies with <strong>the</strong> notion <strong>of</strong> dynamic capability. She uses <strong>the</strong> strategic-as-practice approach in a France
and Japan comparison. She belongs to <strong>the</strong> Chair Management & Diversity <strong>of</strong> her University.
Evangelia Siachou has a PhD in Knowledge Management from A<strong>the</strong>ns University <strong>of</strong> Economics and
Business and an MSc in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management from <strong>the</strong> London School <strong>of</strong>
Economics (LSE). Assistant Pr<strong>of</strong>essor in Management at Hellenic American University. Her current research
interests include Knowledge Transfer and Acquisition, Business Model Innovation and Strategic Human
Resource Management.
Päivi Sihvo (RN, M.Sc) works as a Project Manager and as a Teacher in North Karelia University <strong>of</strong> Applied
Sciences. In her carrier she has focused on knowledge management and Management <strong>of</strong> Health Care.
Mauro Spinola PhD. and Associated Pr<strong>of</strong>essor, His main research and educacation focus is IT process
management. He developed relevant IT research and development projects related to traffic control system
development and systems engineering process improvement. Recent researches are focused on
implementation effectiveness <strong>of</strong> IT models and knowledge management modeling and measuring.
Christina Suciu has a Phd in Economics. Graduate <strong>of</strong> Cybernetics Faculty, Academy <strong>of</strong> Economic Studies
Bucharest (ASE), 1981. Research fellow, National Institute for Economic Research, Romanian
Academy.Since 1993 teaching & research at ASE. Now full pr<strong>of</strong>essor & PhD supervisor in Economics, ASE.
Topic <strong>of</strong> interest: Knowledge-based society, intellectual capital, KM, creative economy, investing in people
and skills.
David Sundaram is Associate Pr<strong>of</strong>essor in Information Systems and Operations Management at <strong>the</strong>
University <strong>of</strong> Auckland. He is an engineer by background, a teacher, researcher, and consultant by
pr<strong>of</strong>ession, and a lifelong student. He is passionate about <strong>the</strong> modelling, design, and implementation <strong>of</strong>
flexible and evolvable information, visualization, decision, knowledge, and social systems.
Kaj Sunesson is a lecturer in industrial economics and organization at Chalmers University <strong>of</strong> technology in
Göteborg, Sweden. His background is from cognitive psychology, organization and business economics.
Earlier areas <strong>of</strong> activities have been within management. At present <strong>the</strong> main interest is in how new
technology affects different types <strong>of</strong> decision making processes.
