Subsequently as a result <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> semi-structured interviews and sessions with logistic experts in Iran
Khodro Co. and after reviewing <strong>the</strong> KM models and frameworks, key knowledge areas in this zone are
recognized. These key knowledge areas used for this case study are <strong>the</strong> combination <strong>of</strong> some items
<strong>of</strong> Jose Lois Galan Gonzalez, Gabriel Cependa research (2004) and ideas <strong>of</strong> IKCO experts. These
key knowledge areas are illustrated in table 1.
Finally among current main processes and specified key knowledge areas, a matrix is designed to
identify and rank <strong>the</strong>se processes in <strong>the</strong> logistics area based on <strong>the</strong> experts’ ideas.
As it is shown in table 1, <strong>the</strong> columns <strong>of</strong> this matrix are representative
<strong>of</strong> key knowledge areas in
supply chain and <strong>the</strong> rows are illustrative <strong>of</strong> main processes in <strong>the</strong> logistics area.
Experts identified <strong>the</strong> processes related to <strong>the</strong> key knowledge areas and scored this relationship with
numbers from 1 to 10.
