they will thereby be utterly consumed. 13. Woe to you<br />

who build your houses through the grievous toil <strong>of</strong> others and<br />

their building material is nothing save the bricks and stones<br />

<strong>of</strong> sin j I tell you ye will have no peace. 14. Woe to them<br />

who reject the measure and eternal heritage <strong>of</strong> their fathers<br />

and whose souls follow after idols ;<br />

for they will have no rest.<br />

15. Woe to them who work unrighteousness and aid oppression<br />

and slay their neighbours until the day <strong>of</strong> the great judgment.<br />

16. For He will cast down your glory and bring affliction on<br />

your hearts, and will arouse the spirit <strong>of</strong> His indignation to<br />

destroy you all with the sword; and all the righteous and<br />

holy will remember your sins.<br />

sons will be smitten in one place, brothers will fall in death<br />

one with another until it streams with their blood like a river.<br />
