Additionally the Test Scan operation allows you to analyze the data and define regions<br />

in scattergrams and histograms before you perform a Scan & Save.<br />

The six buttons at the top of the Scan section of the task bar control the Test Scan<br />

function. These are described in the table below.<br />

During a Test Scan the Scan Area Setup window displays the scan status of the wells<br />

or scan areas. However, you cannot select any of the icons from the toolbar.<br />

Additionally, the following options are disabled from the task bar:<br />

❑ New Run<br />

❑ Open Run<br />

❑ Load<br />

❑ Statistics<br />

❑ Refresh<br />

Use this button to:<br />

❑ Start a Test Scan<br />

❑ Pause a scan that has been started<br />

❑ Resume a scan that has been<br />

paused.<br />

Acquires first field and pauses, or<br />

advances to and scans the next scan<br />

field.<br />

Next well Advances to and scans the next well<br />

Rescan Rescans current field<br />

Previous field Returns to and scans previous field<br />

Scan Only Active<br />

Wells<br />

If selected, <strong>iCys</strong> scans only those scan<br />

areas selected in the Carrier window.<br />
