Displaying Region Statistics<br />

➣ To open the Region Statistics window, click View ⇒ Region Statistics.<br />

The Region Statistics window displays detailed statistics about each scattergram,<br />

histogram and region in your Workspace, including statistics for the events in each<br />

region:<br />

Tip: If no regions have been set, you can still invoke region statistics to see<br />

statistics on total events in each graph.<br />

The Region Statistics window displays the following information:<br />

Statistic Description<br />

Region The id of this scattergram (S1, S2, for example), histogram<br />

(H3, H4), or region (R1, R2) along with:<br />

❑ The number of data points in the defined area.<br />

❑ The percentage of data points currently displayed in the<br />

graph as compared to the entire population of events. For a<br />

scattergram or histogram, the percentage should be 100%<br />

(assuming that both axes are normalized and the graph is<br />

not gated from another graph).<br />

Label If you labeled this region, as described in “Labeling Regions”<br />

on page 4-34, the name appears here.<br />
