❑ New Scattergram—Creates a new two-parameter scattergram. For information<br />

about scattergrams, see “Creating and Changing Scattergrams” on page 4-22..<br />

❑ New Histogram—Creates a new one-parameter histogram. For information about<br />

histograms, see “Creating and Changing Histograms” on page 4-38.<br />

❑ New Gallery—Creates a new gallery of images from a specified region. For<br />

information about galleries, see “Defining and Creating Galleries” on page 4-20.<br />

❑ Region Statistics—Displays detailed statistics about each defined region. For<br />

more information, see “Displaying Region Statistics” on page 4-18.<br />

❑ Run Statistics—Displays detailed statistics about each scan area. For more<br />

information, see “Displaying Run Statistics” on page 4-16.<br />

❑ Field Image—Opens the Scan Field Image window (formerly Scan Data display),<br />

which allows you to control and monitor the scanning of your specimen. When no<br />

other active document is open, this window is titled Scan Field Image.<br />

❑ Well Image—Opens the Well Image window. A Well image is a mosaic of all<br />

scan fields for a given scan area.<br />

❑ Region Image—Opens an image of the scan fields contained in a specified<br />

region. (This feature is available only with the iNovator toolkit.)<br />

❑ Refresh—Repaints all of the open windows on the <strong>iCys</strong> Workspace. This can be<br />

useful when you are adjusting various <strong>iCys</strong> parameters. If Auto Refresh is<br />

checked, Refresh is not available.<br />

❑ Auto Refresh—Automatically repaints open windows in the <strong>iCys</strong> Workspace<br />

when adjustments are made to <strong>iCys</strong> parameters.<br />

This feature is available only with the iNovator toolkit.<br />

❑ Home Stage—Moves the microscope stage to its home position.<br />

❑ Home Objective—Moves the microscope objective to its home position.<br />

❑ Load Carrier—Moves the microscope stage to the appropriate position for<br />

loading a carrier.<br />

❑ Brightfield—Clears the path from the brightfield lamp to the condenser, allowing<br />

the brightfield source to illuminate the sample.<br />

Note: When Brightfield is selected, the Scatter sensor is moved out of the way,<br />

and is unavailable.<br />

❑ Oscilloscope—Opens the Oscilloscope window. This allows you to view a<br />

representation of the scan outputs. The oscilloscope feature is described in detail<br />

in “Using the Oscilloscope Feature” on page 3-90.<br />
