Generating Analytical Data Creating and Changing Scattergrams<br />

After creation, the quadrants can be dragged to any position. When data is<br />

scanned, the percentage of data in each quadrant will appear in the graph.<br />

❑ 2-Parameter Histogram—2-parameter histograms, provide a method displaying<br />

a third (Z) parameter in the scattergram using color to represent the Z axis. If you<br />

select 2-Parameter Histogram, you can choose one of the following options:<br />

❍ Density—Color codes the data according to how many events have been<br />

assigned to a given pixel.<br />

❍ Expression—Color codes the data according to the value of the expression<br />

you choose in the accompanying pulldown menus.<br />

2-parameter histograms are described in greater detail in “About 2-Parameter<br />

Histograms,” below.<br />
