❍ The first scattergram to the far left is gated to another scattergram (not shown)<br />

such that it only displays events that contain two orange subevents.<br />

❍ The second scattergram is inclusive and shows all events that within the<br />

region that contain two subevents. Note that the exclusive events are also<br />

shown in this scattergram (in red).<br />

❍ The third scattergram is exclusive and shows only those events for which the<br />

two subevents are relatively large (that is, for which the integral is high).<br />

Tip: The Inclusive and Exclusive scattergrams are shown in low resolution, as<br />

described in “Scattergram General Tab” on page 4-27.<br />

Scattergram General Tab<br />

The General tab allows you to set a number of miscellaneous parameters. The general<br />

parameters for scattergrams and histograms are different; for more information about<br />

the histogram parameters, see “Histogram General Tab” on page 4-39.<br />

The parameters available from this tab are:<br />

❑ Title—Enter a title for this graph. The title appears at the top of the graph.<br />

❑ Display (Global)—Specify whether you want to display scattergram and<br />

histogram data on a white or a black background. Note that this setting affects all<br />

scattergrams and histograms in this Workspace, not just the current graph.<br />

❑ Resolution—Specify the display resolution. You can select either high or low<br />

resolution.<br />

❑ Quadrant statistics—Displays a quadrant on the graph after you click Apply or<br />

OK. For example:<br />
