OPERATOR SEAT<br />

Removal and Installation<br />

Use the following procedure to remove the operator seat<br />

from the operator cab:<br />

Raise the operator cab (See Page 1–1).<br />

Locate the operator seat sensor (Item 1) [A] on the<br />

bottom of the seat pan.<br />

Disconnect the seat sensor connector and remove the<br />

seat sensor assembly (See Page 8–1).<br />

Remove the three seat mounting nuts (Item 1) [B] and<br />

washers from the operator seat mounting studs.<br />

Lower the operator cab and remove the operator seat<br />

from the cab.<br />

NOTE: There are two spacers (Item 1) [C] located<br />

between seat track and the seat pan on each<br />

front mounting stud. Be sure not to lose the<br />

spacers when removing the seat.<br />

Remove the seat spring (Item 2) [C] from un<strong>de</strong>r the right<br />

seat track when removing the operator seat.<br />

Installation: Install the seat spring (Item 1) [D] with the<br />

bend of the seat spring in the position shown.<br />

Inspect the seat adjustment track (Item 3) [C].<br />

Remove the mounting bolt from each end of the track and<br />

replace the adjustment track if necessary.<br />

Reverse the removal procedure to install the operator<br />

seat.<br />
