Bob–Tach Lever and Wedge (Cont’d)<br />

Using a punch and hammer, remove the roll pin (Item 1)<br />

[A] from the Bob–Tach wedge and spring, bolt and clevis<br />

assembly.<br />

Remove the spring, bolt and clevis assembly (Item 1) [B].<br />

Remove the wedge (Item 2) [B] from the Bob–Tach<br />

frame.<br />

Always replace bent or broken wedges.<br />

If the bolt (Item 1) [C], handle pivot (Item 2) [C], spring<br />

(Item 3) [C] or clevis (Item 4) [C] are damaged, put the<br />

assembly in the vise. Loosen and remove the bolt (Item<br />

1) [C] with a 5/16 inch allen wrench.<br />

Replace the worn or damaged parts as nee<strong>de</strong>d.<br />

Reverse the removal procedure to install the Bob–Tach<br />

Lever and Wedge.<br />

Bob–Tach Stops<br />

Remove and replace the Bob–Tach stop (Item 1) [D]<br />

(both si<strong>de</strong>s) if worn or damaged.<br />

NOTE: The Bob–Tach stop (Item 1) [D] must contact<br />

the lift arm at the same time the tilt cylin<strong>de</strong>r<br />

reaches full extension. Use available shims<br />

to adjust the Bob–Tach stop and tilt cylin<strong>de</strong>r<br />

sequence as closely as possible.<br />
