Removal and Installation (Cont’d)<br />

Install the Bob–Tach mounting bolt (Item 1) [A] into the<br />

pivot pin (Item 2) [A]. Remove the pivot pin from the<br />

Bob–Tach frame.<br />

Check for wear and damage. Replace the pivot pins as<br />

nee<strong>de</strong>d.<br />

Installation: Push the pivot pin (Item 2) [A] into the<br />

Bob–Tach frame. Position the end of the pin flush with the<br />

end of the Bob–Tach bushing (Item 3) [A].<br />

Reverse the removal procedure to install the Bob–Tach.<br />

Bob–Tach Lever and Wedge<br />

Use the following procedure to remove and install the<br />

Bob–Tach lever (Item 1) [B], spring and wedge:<br />

Remove the lever mounting bolt and nut (Item 1) [C],<br />

washer (Item 2) [C] and spring (Item 3) [C].<br />

Installation: Tighten the nut to 25–28 ft.–lbs. (34–38 Nm)<br />

torque.<br />

Remove the Bob–Tach lever (Item 1) [D].<br />
