STARTER Removal and Installation Disconnect the negative (–) cable from the battery. Disconnect the positive (+) cable (Item 1) [A] and starter wires from the starter solenoid. Remove the starter mounting bolt (Item 1) [B] and engine harness ground wires from the starter. Remove the other two mounting bolts (Item 1) [C].
