RELATED OPERATIONAL OBJECTIVE: By July <strong>2009</strong>, <strong>Eastern</strong> <strong>Suffolk</strong> <strong>BOCES</strong> will be reaccredited by the Middle States<br />
Association based on the implementation of the action plans outlined in the current strategic plan as updated through annual<br />
reviews and examined by a mid-point on-site visit by a Middle States Association representative, based on demonstration of<br />
continued adherence to Middle States standards, and based on the development of a second seven-year strategic plan using an<br />
approved planning process.<br />
DESCRIPTIVE NARRATIVE: According to the developed timelines, <strong>Eastern</strong> <strong>Suffolk</strong> <strong>BOCES</strong> will implement the action plans<br />
articulated in the <strong>Strategic</strong> <strong>Plan</strong> for the agency and the divisions. The <strong>Eastern</strong> <strong>Suffolk</strong> <strong>BOCES</strong> Agency-wide <strong>Strategic</strong> <strong>Plan</strong>ning<br />
Council will meet at least annually to review progress and to modify the plans as appropriate. The Board will be regularly informed<br />
about the progress of, and recommended changes to, the <strong>Strategic</strong> <strong>Plan</strong>. <strong>Eastern</strong> <strong>Suffolk</strong> <strong>BOCES</strong> stakeholders will be regularly<br />
informed about strategic planning activities and will contribute to the implementation, evaluation, and revision of strategic planning<br />
initiatives as appropriate to their respective responsibilities and interests. A Middle States Association representative will be invited<br />
to do an on-site mid-point review of the agency. A new seven-year <strong>Strategic</strong> <strong>Plan</strong> will be developed in 2007-08 and the Middle<br />
States Association will be invited to conduct a validation visit in Fall <strong>2008</strong> to re-accredit the Agency for <strong>2009</strong>-2016.<br />
