3. Make contact with local, regional and national<br />

organizations to review services and potential<br />

partnerships.<br />

4. Identify existing resources for cultural<br />

competence and anti-bias training for staff.<br />

5. <strong>Plan</strong> and offer BiasHelp LI - Anti Bias workshop<br />

for Admin Council, ES Principals.<br />

6. <strong>Plan</strong> and offer BiasHelp LI Anti Bias workshop for<br />

Assistant Principals and Agency administrators not<br />

included in above workshop.<br />

7. Develop, plan, train facilitators to present an<br />

agency-wide cultural competence awareness<br />

workshop for Superintendent’s Conference Day.<br />

8. Anti Bias Training and group facilitation training<br />

for Superintendent’s Conference Day Facilitators.<br />

9. Provide professional development to new and<br />

current employees through workshops, coaching and<br />

job-embedded staff development.<br />

10. Maintain attendance records and evaluate the<br />

effectiveness of the staff development activities.<br />

11. Meet annually with identified internal and<br />

external stakeholders to review action plans I.G, I.H,<br />

III.B and IV.C at the <strong>Strategic</strong> <strong>Plan</strong>ning Meeting each<br />

August.<br />

12. Identify core professional development activities<br />

in cultural competence for all <strong>BOCES</strong> staff and<br />

develop an implementation plan which will include<br />

goals, content and outcomes for each cultural<br />

competence activity.<br />
