RELATED OPERATIONAL OBJECTIVE: By July <strong>2009</strong>, the pricing structures and service offerings for all services will be reviewed<br />
so as to maximize school district participation and expansion / repackaging of services to assure cost effectiveness for participants.<br />
DESCRIPTIVE NARRATIVE: The Director of the Regional Information Center will involve a representative sample of stakeholders,<br />
to participate in a collaborative review and assessment of the pricing structures and combinations of service offerings to school<br />
districts and other authorized entities, to identify areas of improvement in efficiencies and cost of participation. The RIC will develop<br />
greater consistency in pricing models for all services and examine additional efficiencies in associating like services to maximize<br />
school district participation.<br />
ACTIVITIES<br />
1. Establish committee of stakeholders from the<br />
RIC Budget <strong>Plan</strong>ning Committee participants,<br />
RIC Administrative staff, and other identified<br />
stakeholders<br />
2. Assess the current pricing structures and<br />
services; make recommendations for<br />
improvements. This will be ongoing through the<br />
process<br />
3. Implement new pricing models and inform<br />
school districts of package offerings through the<br />
Shared Service Guide, and other informational<br />
materials, as appropriate. This will be ongoing<br />
through the process<br />
