BLANCA ANDERSON<br />
Blanca Anderson, from Puerto Rico, lives in the city of New<br />
Orleans, LA (USA) <strong>and</strong> teaches Spanish American Literature at<br />
Loyola University New Orleans. She has published two collections<br />
of poems, Ecos arañados (Madrid 1996) <strong>and</strong> Poemas de amor y de<br />
alquimia (New Jersey, 2003), <strong>and</strong> her <strong>poet</strong>ry has been included in<br />
anthologies in Mexico <strong>and</strong> Spain. In 2003 she published a novel, La<br />
edad del arrepentimiento. She is also the author of three collections<br />
of short stories, Cu<strong>and</strong>o los heraldos piden tregua (Madrid, 1996),<br />
La última noche (Madrid, 2006) <strong>and</strong> Entre la magia y el conjuro<br />
(Costa Rica 2009).<br />
