TIBOR KOCHIK Slovak <strong>poet</strong> Tibor Kočík was born on 5th of December 1952 in Košice. He had studied special pedagogy <strong>and</strong> journalism. He worked as a teacher, publishing editor <strong>and</strong> journalist. Slovak literature perceived him as a <strong>poet</strong>, essayist, journalist <strong>and</strong> editor. He had debuted with a collection of <strong>poet</strong>ry called „Inl<strong>and</strong>“, in which is also found the poem “Birds”. Afterwards he issued various collections such as The Variable Bottom, The Postcards <strong>and</strong> The Sketches, The Meeting of Free Fall, The Long Journey/ The Rose Garden, The Copperplate of Soul, To Be Instead of To Have <strong>and</strong> The Zone. He is also the author of the fine art essays entitled The Fragments Between The Times.
