SHAVKAT MUZAFFAR is an Uzbek artist, born in Tashkent,<br />
the capital of Uzbekistan. He currently works for Mushtum<br />
magazine. A member of Creative Union of Artists of Uzbekistan,<br />
his work was widely exhibited in the country.<br />
NOZIMA TOSHPULATOVA, journalist <strong>and</strong> <strong>translator</strong>, a<br />
graduate of the World Languages University in Tashkent. Since<br />
2001, she has been working at Uzbekistan TV <strong>and</strong> Radio Company.<br />
Her numerous articles have been published in local newspapers <strong>and</strong><br />
magazines. She has attended a number of national <strong>and</strong> international<br />
conferences, including Spanish language <strong>and</strong> literature courses at<br />
the University of Malaga in Spain.<br />
AZAM ABIDOV, <strong>poet</strong>, <strong>translator</strong>, born in 1974 in Namangan,<br />
City of flowers, Uzbekistan. Author of The Isl<strong>and</strong> of Anxiety, Tunes<br />
of Asia, A Miracle Is On The Way <strong>and</strong> other <strong>poet</strong>ry <strong>and</strong> translation<br />
books, head of the Creative Writing <strong>and</strong> Translation Club in<br />
Tashkent.<br />
