2012-2013 UNDERGRADUATE CATALOG<br />
Applicants for admission to the pr<strong>of</strong>essional program<br />
in Radiologic Technology, in addition to meeting the<br />
requirements for admission to the <strong>University</strong>, must meet<br />
the requirements <strong>of</strong> the Pre-Radiologic Technology<br />
curriculum and must have earned a minimum uncorrected<br />
cumul<strong>at</strong>ive grade point average <strong>of</strong> <strong>at</strong> least a 2.5 on a 4.00<br />
scale in all previous course work <strong>at</strong> all higher institutions<br />
<strong>of</strong> <strong>at</strong>tendance, possess a minimum corrected grade<br />
point average <strong>of</strong> 2.7 on a 4.00 scale in all required prepr<strong>of</strong>essional<br />
Radiologic Technology courses (excluding<br />
developmental courses), and possess a grade <strong>of</strong> “C”<br />
or better in all required m<strong>at</strong>hem<strong>at</strong>ics, n<strong>at</strong>ural science<br />
and Radiologic Technology courses. Due to utiliz<strong>at</strong>ion <strong>of</strong><br />
objective criteria in processing applic<strong>at</strong>ions, <strong>at</strong>tainment <strong>of</strong><br />
minimum requirements in the Pre-Radiologic Technology<br />
curriculum does not guarantee admission to the<br />
pr<strong>of</strong>essional Radiologic Technology Program. Applicants<br />
are also required to submit results from the department<br />
approved entrance test.<br />
Applic<strong>at</strong>ion forms for admission to the pr<strong>of</strong>essional<br />
program <strong>of</strong> Radiologic Technology may be obtained<br />
from the department head for Radiologic Technology<br />
or from the department website, www.ulm.edu/radtech.<br />
Completed applic<strong>at</strong>ion (including receipt <strong>of</strong> applic<strong>at</strong>ion<br />
fee payment) forms are to be submitted to the department<br />
head for Radiologic Technology by May 31 <strong>of</strong> the year<br />
the student seeks admission for the fall semester.<br />
Applic<strong>at</strong>ions will be reviewed by the Admissions and<br />
Academic Standards Committee.<br />

the Joint Review Committee on Educ<strong>at</strong>ion in Radiologic<br />

Gradu<strong>at</strong>es <strong>of</strong> the program are eligible to take the n<strong>at</strong>ional<br />
certific<strong>at</strong>ion examin<strong>at</strong>ion for radiologic technologists<br />
administered by the American Registry <strong>of</strong> Radiologic<br />
Technologists (ARRT). The American Registry <strong>of</strong><br />
Radiologic Technologists reserves the right to disapprove<br />
the writing <strong>of</strong> the N<strong>at</strong>ional Registry to persons having<br />
been convicted <strong>of</strong> a Felony or Misdemeanor. Contact for<br />

Students must observe all pre-requisites in<br />
the sequential pursuance <strong>of</strong> courses leading to a<br />
