3009. LOUISIANA LIFE AND LITERATURE. 3 cr. <strong>Louisiana</strong>’s cultural<br />

heritage and folklore as preserved in her liter<strong>at</strong>ure. Short stories,<br />

poetry, drama, and novels will be read including represent<strong>at</strong>ive<br />

works by George Washington Cable, K<strong>at</strong>e Chopin, Ernest<br />

Gaines, Walker Percy, Robert Penn Warren, and Tennessee<br />
