A variety <strong>of</strong> meal plans are available to both residential<br />
and commuter students. Dining options and pricing<br />
inform<strong>at</strong>ion can be viewed online <strong>at</strong> www.ulmdining.com.<br />

<strong>at</strong> 318-342-1979. *Meal plan prices are subject to change<br />
no more than 5% in any Fall term.<br />
Room and meal plan reserv<strong>at</strong>ions are contracted<br />
separ<strong>at</strong>ely through the Housing Office and the Warhawk<br />
ID Services Office, respectively. All students living on<br />
campus are required to contract for an on-campus meal<br />
plan. All meal plan changes must be made before the fifth<br />
(5th) class day. Unless a specific meal plan is indic<strong>at</strong>ed,<br />
residents will autom<strong>at</strong>ically be enrolled in the Gold Plan.<br />
Village Apartment residents will autom<strong>at</strong>ically be enrolled<br />
in the Village Apt Plan unless a standard meal plan is<br />
chosen. Residents are not eligible for either Commuter<br />
Plan. Students living on- or <strong>of</strong>f-campus, with less than<br />
30 hours may choose the Gold or Pl<strong>at</strong>inum Meal Plan.<br />
Two Commuter Plans are <strong>of</strong>fered for students living<br />
<strong>of</strong>f- campus; however, students living <strong>of</strong>f-campus may<br />
choose from any meal plan <strong>of</strong> their choice, if eligible.<br />
Students living on campus during rot<strong>at</strong>ions, particip<strong>at</strong>ing<br />
in internships, or moving into the residence halls <strong>at</strong> any<br />
point after the semester begins are required to pay for<br />
meals on a pro-r<strong>at</strong>a basis according the number <strong>of</strong> days in<br />
residence.<br />
At the twenty-first (21st) class day, students with an<br />
unpaid balance on their Banner Self Service Account<br />
will have their meal plans autom<strong>at</strong>ically adjusted to the<br />
Gold Plan.<br />
All meal plans include “Flex-Dollars” th<strong>at</strong> are the<br />
equivalent <strong>of</strong> cash and may be redeemed <strong>at</strong> any <strong>of</strong><br />
Aramark’s dining facilities. Flex-Dollar balances roll over<br />
from fall semester to spring, but do not roll over from<br />
spring to fall. Fall-term Flex-Dollars will be forfeited if a<br />
new meal plan is not purchased for the subsequent spring<br />
term. Additional Flex-Dollars may be purchased <strong>at</strong> any<br />
time throughout the semester. Please contact the Aramark<br />
Office (ph: (318) 342-1979) for details.<br />
Standard (block) meals are served <strong>at</strong> Schulze<br />
cafeteria. Dining services are not open during <strong>University</strong><br />
closures and observed holidays. Please refer to the<br />
<strong>University</strong> calendar for scheduled closure d<strong>at</strong>es and<br />
holidays.<br />

HOUSING AND LIVING<br />
ACCOMMODATIONS<br />
Campus housing is under the Department <strong>of</strong><br />
Residential Life and the Division <strong>of</strong> the Executive Vice<br />
President. The housing applic<strong>at</strong>ion is available online<br />
<strong>at</strong> www.ulm.edu/reslife. First-time freshmen and new<br />
transfer students will receive the necessary inform<strong>at</strong>ion<br />
to access the online housing applic<strong>at</strong>ion after they have<br />
been accepted to the <strong>University</strong>. Continuing students will<br />
have access to the online applic<strong>at</strong>ion during the room<br />
sign up period in the spring semester.<br />
A $25 non-refundable applic<strong>at</strong>ion fee and a $200<br />
room reserv<strong>at</strong>ion fee must accompany every housing<br />
applic<strong>at</strong>ion for first-time freshmen and new transfer students.<br />
Current residents, who re-apply for their housing,<br />
will pay a $50 room reserv<strong>at</strong>ion fee and a $200<br />
prepayment for their fall housing. A student, entering the<br />
Residential Life system and properly maintaining occupancy<br />
for continuous semesters, will only pay the applic<strong>at</strong>ion<br />
fee once. The room reserv<strong>at</strong>ion fee <strong>of</strong> $50 and the<br />
prepayment for the fall housing fee must be paid each<br />
subsequent year prior to a student receiving an assignment.<br />
Any student returning to the residence hall system<br />
after a break in their housing, will be required to complete<br />
a new housing applic<strong>at</strong>ion and pay all associ<strong>at</strong>ed fees<br />
prior to being assigned a room.<br />
Students residing in university housing must abide by<br />
all university policies and procedures; the Student Code<br />
<strong>of</strong> Conduct as outlined in the Student Policy Manual, and<br />
the Guide to Residence Hall Living. Both documents are<br />
loc<strong>at</strong>ed on the Residential Life website <strong>at</strong> www.ulm.edu/<br />
res life.<br />
ULM has an established 2.0 minimum cumul<strong>at</strong>ive<br />
GPA requirement for all students living in on-campus<br />
housing. All students residing in the following buildings,<br />
Madison Hall, Masur Hall, Ouachita Hall, <strong>University</strong><br />
Commons I and <strong>University</strong> Commons II must maintain <strong>at</strong><br />
least a 2.0 cumul<strong>at</strong>ive GPA <strong>at</strong> all times. Bayou Suites, the<br />
scholar's hall, has a 3.3 cumul<strong>at</strong>ive GPA requirement for<br />
continuing students and a 3.5 cumul<strong>at</strong>ive GPA requirement<br />
for first time freshmen. The requirements for the<br />
Bayou Village Apartments are a 2.3 cumul<strong>at</strong>ive GPA and<br />
24 earned credit hours.
