4046. ADVANCED PROFESSIONAL WRITING AND<br />
COMMUNICATION. 3 cr. Theory, use, and cre<strong>at</strong>ion <strong>of</strong> advanced<br />
pr<strong>of</strong>essional documents. Focus on writing and communic<strong>at</strong>ion<br />
outcomes based on audience needs. Instruction in various<br />
areas <strong>of</strong> pr<strong>of</strong>essional communic<strong>at</strong>ion and prepar<strong>at</strong>ion for the<br />
job market. Prerequisite: registr<strong>at</strong>ion in or completion <strong>of</strong> any<br />
upper-level writing class or permission <strong>of</strong> the department head.<br />
Credit for BUSN 3005 and ENGL 4046 cannot be used to fulfill<br />
requirements for the Bachelor <strong>of</strong> Business Administr<strong>at</strong>ion (BBA)<br />

courses for non-n<strong>at</strong>ive speakers with emphasis on phonetics,<br />
rhythm, stress and inton<strong>at</strong>ion and the fe<strong>at</strong>ures <strong>of</strong> English<br />
phrasing. Students will receive a grade <strong>of</strong> A, B, C, or NC.<br />
0074. BEGINNING ORAL PROFICIENCY. 3 cr. A beginning English<br />
