Companies Act, 1973, as amended, the directors have <strong>in</strong>vestigated the beneficial ownership of shares <strong>in</strong> <strong>Sappi</strong> Limited, <strong>in</strong>clud<strong>in</strong>g<br />
those which are registered <strong>in</strong> the nom<strong>in</strong>ee hold<strong>in</strong>gs and these <strong>in</strong>vestigations revealed as of September <strong>2009</strong>, the follow<strong>in</strong>g beneficial<br />
holders of more than 5% of the issued share capital of <strong>Sappi</strong> Limited:<br />
