CHAPTER FIVEEVENT OPERATIONS PLANNING5OVERVIEWPURPOSEThis chapter presents advance planning andstakeholder coordination activities conducted<strong>for</strong> a specific <strong>planned</strong> <strong>special</strong> event.It represents the first of three successivechapters on the event operations planningphase. The primary, interrelated products ofthe event operations planning phase include:(1) feasibility study, (2) traffic managementplan, and (3) <strong>travel</strong> demand managementinitiatives.
