Temporaryvenues may not have a defined spectatorcapacity, thus creating uncertainties inforecasting event-generated trips since a“sell-out” cap does not exist.Street Use EventA street use event occurs on a street requiringtemporary closure. These events generallyoccur in a city or town central businessdistrict; however, race events or motorcyclerallies may necessitate temporary closure ofarterial streets or limited-access highways.A street use event significantly impactsbusinesses and neighborhoods adjacent tothe event site from the perspective of parkingand access.
