Praktijk<br />

Lessen wor<strong>de</strong>n <strong>in</strong>gericht met <strong>in</strong> gedachten: “leren <strong>van</strong> alle leerl<strong>in</strong>gen” en stimuleren <strong>de</strong> participatie<br />

<strong>van</strong> alle leerl<strong>in</strong>gen. en ontwikkelen begrip voor verschillen.<br />

In the afternoon pupils take part <strong>in</strong> an <strong>in</strong>terest<strong>in</strong>g afternoon-program with a big variety of courses<br />

children can choose. Another possibility <strong>in</strong> class is work<strong>in</strong>g on the same topic but with different<br />

tasks. Work<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> this way, firstly all of the class meets and the teacher summarizes the topic the<br />

class is go<strong>in</strong>g to work on. The pupils then ask questions and try to f<strong>in</strong>d <strong>in</strong>terest<strong>in</strong>g sub-topics<br />

which they would like to study. They also th<strong>in</strong>k about the methods with which they can get results<br />

for their questions. The i<strong>de</strong>as of the children conta<strong>in</strong> experiments as well as read<strong>in</strong>g and<br />

reproduc<strong>in</strong>g texts or the creative treatment of the topic (like build<strong>in</strong>g a mo<strong>de</strong>l) up to useful tra<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g<br />

of a special tool. The different tasks have to be discussed with the teacher if they are <strong>in</strong>vented by<br />

the children. Other tasks are <strong>in</strong>structions given by the teacher directly. If you have many different<br />

tasks concern<strong>in</strong>g one topic it is very important to f<strong>in</strong>ally re-import results and work<strong>in</strong>g methods <strong>in</strong>to<br />

the group: this is the reason why presentations are of very high <strong>in</strong>terest.<br />

Leerl<strong>in</strong>gen leren samen, peer-assistance.<br />

Children learn this positive attitu<strong>de</strong> towards diversity from their first school day and dur<strong>in</strong>g every<br />

s<strong>in</strong>gle day <strong>in</strong> school. There are many circles where classes meet and everybody recounts what he or<br />

she has been or will be do<strong>in</strong>g. Children f<strong>in</strong>d out by themselves that every piece of work must be<br />

appreciated – s<strong>in</strong>ce a child exerted much effort. As a tool you can use class-<strong>in</strong>structions like “Work<br />

with Peter!” If children are told to take care of each other and work with one another, they will do so.<br />

When they th<strong>in</strong>k and talk about their work<strong>in</strong>g processes later on, they always f<strong>in</strong>d positive aspects of<br />

work<strong>in</strong>g together. Als k<strong>in</strong><strong>de</strong>ren scheikun<strong>de</strong> krijgen, krijgt <strong>de</strong> leerl<strong>in</strong>g met een beperk<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> een aparte<br />

ruimte les <strong>van</strong> zijn begelei<strong>de</strong>r, weliswaar over hetzelf<strong>de</strong> thema. Alle leerl<strong>in</strong>gen leren <strong>van</strong> elkaar, en<br />

helpen elkaar.<br />

Klassenassistenten on<strong>de</strong>rsteunen het leren en participeren <strong>van</strong> alle leerl<strong>in</strong>gen.<br />

S<strong>in</strong>ce the school has multi-professional teams <strong>in</strong> every class, they can take various different<br />

viewpo<strong>in</strong>ts on the issues. In team-meet<strong>in</strong>gs and special <strong>in</strong>struction meet<strong>in</strong>gs they discuss and try to<br />

<strong>de</strong>velop new i<strong>de</strong>as. K<strong>in</strong><strong>de</strong>ren met een beperk<strong>in</strong>g hebben daarnaast een eigen begelei<strong>de</strong>r die hen<br />

helpt <strong>in</strong> <strong>de</strong> klas of <strong>in</strong>dividueel ( filmpje) "schulhelfer"<br />

Leerkrachten plannen, geven les en evalueren <strong>in</strong> partnerschap.<br />

There are two teachers per class dur<strong>in</strong>g the lessons. They are – <strong>de</strong>pend<strong>in</strong>g on the needs of the<br />

children - assisted by educators, nurses and/or young people dur<strong>in</strong>g their social year.<br />

Verschillen tussen leerl<strong>in</strong>gen wor<strong>de</strong>n gebruikt als hulpbron bij leren en on<strong>de</strong>rwijzen.<br />

Sophie Scholl schreef: „Beweist durch die Tat, dass ihr an<strong>de</strong>rs <strong>de</strong>nkt!“ – en dat is bij ons op<br />

school een verplicht<strong>in</strong>g om:<br />

Voor <strong>in</strong>clusie te zorgen en ontwikkel<strong>in</strong>g en gemeenschap voor alle k<strong>in</strong><strong>de</strong>ren, onafhankelijk voor<br />

beperk<strong>in</strong>g of niet beperk<strong>in</strong>g, <strong>van</strong> geslacht of sociale afkomst toegankelijk te maken.<br />

In het dagelijkse schoolleven <strong>de</strong> heterogeniteit te erkennen en <strong>de</strong> erkenn<strong>in</strong>g <strong>van</strong> verschillen<br />

zichtbaar te maken en te laten zien dat het waar<strong>de</strong>vol is.<br />

De persoonlijkheid <strong>van</strong> <strong>de</strong> leerl<strong>in</strong>gen te versterken en ervoor te zorgen dat <strong>de</strong> “Sozialerziehung“<br />
