the contract <strong>to</strong> protect themselves and now they insist on it every<br />

The location of the event is the most obvious initial consideration.<br />

Before a speaker can come in and talk <strong>to</strong> your group, you'll need a<br />

place for them <strong>to</strong> do so. There are several things <strong>to</strong> keep in mind<br />

when looking for locations, and these are very important<br />

considerations. Finding the proper location is a matter of<br />

understanding the needs of the event itself. You'll want <strong>to</strong> find one<br />

which will provide everything you need <strong>to</strong> keep your audience<br />

happy and comfortable.<br />

Size and Capacity<br />

Different events will vary in <strong>size</strong>. Some may be rather small and<br />

will consist mostly of <strong>REIA</strong> group members. Other events, such as<br />

weekend long seminars, will often attract a much larger audience.<br />

First and foremost, the event location must be able <strong>to</strong> host the<br />

expected number of attendees. This can be hard <strong>to</strong> predict, but the<br />

amount of promotion and the fame of the speaker can give you an<br />

idea.<br />

In addition <strong>to</strong> this, you'll want <strong>to</strong> leave room for any unexpected<br />
