most common mistakes I see <strong>REIA</strong> groups make. Most <strong>REIA</strong><br />
owners fail <strong>to</strong> promote anything that <strong>to</strong>ok place at the meeting,<br />
leaving money on the table by neglecting continued sales. In this<br />
chapter, I will explain exactly what <strong>to</strong> do after the event <strong>to</strong><br />

Updating The Website<br />
Remember, your <strong>REIA</strong> group's website is the most powerful<br />
promotional <strong>to</strong>ol you have. All of your other promotional efforts<br />
will link back <strong>to</strong> this site. You should think of it as a valueincreasing<br />
asset. Every time your group does something, you should<br />
mention it on the website. This creates an impression of the group as<br />
an active, exciting collection of like-minded people. Remember, no<br />
one wants <strong>to</strong> come back and visit your site if it hasn't been updated<br />
in three months.<br />
One of the best things you can do is include plenty of information<br />
about recent events. Whenever you hold an event of any kind, you<br />
should have at least one person taking professional quality pho<strong>to</strong>s. It<br />
doesn't have <strong>to</strong> be a pro pho<strong>to</strong>grapher. Obviously, the better the<br />
pictures look, the more professional your group will look, but any<br />
