many speakers is their inability to provide the following things in a
timely manner. Keep that in mind when you're looking for the right
speaker for your event.
We have actually set up a website where you can watch video
testimonials from other group leaders about their experience in
working with me, as well as see speaking topics, course information
and other ways we can make money together, such as hosting
webinars, etc. You can check it out at www.JVwithTGG.com.
Okay, here is what you need from any speaker.
A Professional Photo
This is possibly the most basic thing you will need from your
speaker. The photo should be a high resolution professional and not
just a quick snapshot from a cell phone. You will be using this
picture when you promote the event both online and in print. In
some cases, the person may be so well known that a picture of them
is all you really need to generate interest in the event.
A Bio
The speaker you choose needs to have a brief biography about
themselves, what they do, and how they got to where they are now.
This will have been carefully thought out and designed to help
promote the speaker, which means it is a vital part of your own
promotional efforts.
The last thing you want is for a speaker to create more work for you.
They should be able to provide their own bio and not rely on you to
create one for them. A good speaker will have a collection of
different promotional material and this should be included in the
bio. Some speakers may have more than one bio if they have more
than one presentation.
