RUNNING A SUCCESSFUL REIA MEETING
In my marketing with REIAs, I usually provide anywhere from one
to three videos promoting the weekday REIA meeting, detailing
why people should attend. Then I'll do one more video that can be
emailed out in-between the weekday meeting and the Saturday
workshop (if we do a Saturday workshop also, obviously). This
video quickly explains the benefits of doing whatever they have to
do to be at the Saturday workshop. Sort of like a little teaser on
what's to come.
This gives the audience a chance to get to know the speaker in
advance. It also provides really good content. We usually provide at
least one video to drive people to the monthly meeting and one
additional video driving people to the Saturday workshop.
• Mini-Courses
Home study courses are one of the most common products you'll
find in this industry. Many people have created their own courses
about real estate investing in general as well as specifics, such as
finding the money and beginner investing strategies. Most of these
courses will be broken up into a number of lessons. Since many of
these courses can be sold for hundreds, if not thousands of dollars,
offering the potential opt-in subscriber the first few lessons in
exchange for an email can help build your opt-in list quickly.
If you don't have a home study course of your own, find someone
that has some training materials that you can give away for free. If
you need something like this, contact us and we'll be happy to send
you some free valuable content you can use. We have free books,
CD’s, DVD’s and more that we will be glad to bring. Why wouldn't
we? It's exposure that we may not have gotten otherwise. Win-win!
