Praxitelean (praksiteleebn) Of the highest standard<br />

in sculpture. Praxiteles was an Athenian<br />

sculptor who fl ourished in the fourth century b.c.<br />

and was regarded as the fi nest sculptor Greece had<br />

ever known. His few surviving works include a<br />
