The summary historical consolidated financial information of Enron as of and
for the fiscal years ended December 31, 1998, 1997 and 1996 has been derived from
the audited consolidated financial statements and related notes thereto of Enron, and
the summary historical consolidated financial information of Enron as of September
30, 1999 and for the nine-month periods ended September 30, 1999 and 1998 has
been derived from the unaudited interim consolidated financial statements of Enron.
The interim data reflect all adjustments that, in the opinion of the management of
Enron, are necessary to present such information fairly for the interim periods.
