The disease is limited to the leaf blades, rarely on the stems,and is absent on the fruit. The<br />

<strong>plant</strong> can become infected from the earlies' seedling stage to the mature <strong>plant</strong>. Only a few<br />

spots may be present on the oldest leaves as there may be infection in varying degrees <strong>of</strong><br />

severity until t. entire <strong>plant</strong> is defoliated. The gray spots appear first as small, circular,<br />

sunken brownish to black lesions. Some <strong>of</strong> the spots are surrounded by a yellow halo.<br />

Cette maladie se limite au limbe des feuilles; elle s'attaque rarement aux tiges et n'atteint pas<br />

le fruit. La <strong>plant</strong>e peut s'infecter depuis les premiers stades de <strong>plant</strong>ule jusqu' maturit. 11<br />

peut nly avoir que de rares taches sur les vieilles feuilles, comme il peut y avoir des infections<br />

de divers degr6s de gravit4 jusqu'l ce que toute la <strong>plant</strong>e soit difoli~e. Les taches<br />

grises se prisentent d'abord sous forme de petites lsions circulaires, deprim6es, brunatres<br />

a noires. Certaines tach'fs sont encourdes d'un halo jaune.<br />

La enfermedad estA lirnitada t4 la, hcjas, raramente ataca los tallos y nunca los frutos. La<br />

<strong>plant</strong>a puede infectarse desdo !c t rpr:ir a edad, hasta que es <strong>plant</strong>a madura. Solamente unas<br />

pocas manchas pueden estar presentes en las hojas mis viejas ya que puede haber infeccicn<br />

en diferentes grados de severidad, hasta que toda la <strong>plant</strong>a esta defoliada. Las manchas grises<br />

aparecen primero como pequefias lesiones circulares, hundidas, de color cafesoso a negro.<br />

Algunas de las manchas estin rodeadas por un halo amai illo.<br />
