During the “Mission to consult GTZ-ASEM India on the Eco Park for the Galvanisers inMadurai” (Gütling and STENUM) in November 2003 the results of ZERMEG were presented tothe Indian Galvanising Association in Madurai, India.During a mission to assist the South African Cleaner Production Center in March 2004 apresentation was given at the Technikon in Durban. A co-operation with a working groupthere was started, which has been active with the application of the Cleaner Productionapproach in the South African galvanising industry for the last five years.A paper by the project team with the title of „ZERMEG – Zero Emission Retrofitting Methodof existing galvanising plants" (J. Fresner, H. Schnitzer, C. Brunner, G. Gwehenberger, M.Planasch, J. Mair) was accepted for presentation on the European Roundtable on CleanerProduction in May 2004.A paper by the project team with the title „ZERMEG – Zero Emission Retrofitting Method ofexisting galvanising plants" (J. Fresner, H. Schnitzer, C. Brunner, G. Gwehenberger, M.Planasch, J. Mair) was submitted for publication in the Journal of Cleaner Production.
