B. Use of the Monogram and <strong>GE</strong> graphic system<br />

in a joint venture graphic identifier<br />

1. To identify itself, a joint venture in which<br />

<strong>GE</strong> has a minimum level of ownership may<br />

be licensed to use the Monogram with the<br />

corporate mark(s) of the joint venture<br />

partner(s) in joint marks in a graphic signature.<br />

A joint venture in which <strong>GE</strong> has a<br />

• controlling (greater than 50 percent) interest<br />

may be licensed to use the Monogram<br />

in joint marks in a graphic signature with<br />

the name “<strong>GE</strong>” combined with the<br />

name(s) of the joint venture partner(s)<br />

in the joint venture name: for example,<br />

e FANUC<br />

<strong>GE</strong> Fanuc Automation<br />

• significant equity interest (normally, at least<br />

34 percent of the voting shares) may be<br />

licensed to use the Monogram in joint<br />

marks in a graphic signature, but the<br />
