<strong>GE</strong> Identity Program<br />

These stationery standards apply to all<br />

<strong>GE</strong> components and licensed affiliates outside<br />

North America.<br />

In a company the size of <strong>GE</strong>, correspondence<br />

creates an enormous daily flow of communication<br />

specifically and personally directed to each<br />

of the Company’s audiences—prospective and<br />

existing customers, consumers, investors, and<br />

employees, to name a few. It is a highly visible<br />

medium, at once official and personal.<br />

The stationery standards provide consistent<br />

layouts, color treatments, and reproduction<br />

methods to help interrelate the Company’s<br />

organizational elements, each contributing to<br />

and drawing from the strength of the Company.<br />

When reproducing any item, even in subsequent<br />

print runs, the smallest details are important.<br />

Check that correct graphic signatures and<br />

typography are reproduced in sizes and colors<br />

matching the examples and specifications shown<br />

in this document. Take special care to ensure<br />

that these frequently reproduced items reflect<br />

<strong>GE</strong>’s commitment to high standards of quality.<br />

These standards provide a plan for featuring<br />

elements of the <strong>GE</strong> Identity Program in all<br />

stationery. In addition, they help<br />

• simplify and clarify information by standardizing<br />

its presentation<br />

• streamline and modernize the appearance of<br />

stationery by using new typography, layouts, and<br />

custom watermarked letterhead paper<br />

• communicate specific attributes of refinement,<br />

sophistication, high technology, dynamism, and<br />

innovation<br />

• unify the stationery of all <strong>GE</strong> components and<br />

licensed affiliates so that each draws from and<br />

contributes to the strength of the <strong>GE</strong> identity<br />
