compressed and<br />

converted to PDF files<br />

to make them widely<br />

To view any <strong>GE</strong> Identity<br />

Program document on<br />

your computer, all you<br />

need is Adobe Acrobat<br />

Reader.<br />

Getting Started<br />

Using Adobe Acrobat Reader<br />

1. Install Adobe ® Acrobat ® Reader .<br />

To open a <strong>GE</strong> Identity Program document on<br />

your computer, first install the Adobe Acrobat<br />

Reader program. It is available at no cost from<br />

Adobe Systems’ website: www.adobe.com.<br />

Acrobat’s standard navigational tools help you<br />

move easily within and between Acrobat documents<br />

and other resources to find quickly the<br />

information you seek. These tools include<br />

• bookmarks<br />

• thumbnails<br />

• other toolbar buttons<br />

• scroll bars<br />

• keyboard shortcuts<br />

To familiarize yourself with Acrobat’s standard<br />

navigational tools, open the Acrobat Reader<br />

Guide in the Help menu.<br />

2.Open the document.<br />

To open a <strong>GE</strong> Identity Program document<br />

once Adobe Acrobat Reader has been installed,<br />

double-click the document icon.<br />

This document includes a brief description<br />

of some of the tools you will use most often<br />

in viewing <strong>GE</strong> Identity Program documents.<br />
