Note: If you are using the Rotating cycle type, the first cycle day in the set of cycle
days for the instructional cycle associated with this calendar displays in the
Starting Cycle Day list. You may select a different cycle day, if desired.
6. Click Assign Instructional Cycle Days.
The adjusted cycle days display on the calendar.
Instructional Cycles on a School Calendar
Associate Schools with Calendars
You must associate a school calendar with the school buildings in your school district for accurate
attendance totaling. You can also associate multiple school calendars with one school building if
that is required in your school district. For example, kindergarten may follow a slightly different
calendar schedule than the other grades in the same school. If you do not select a default calendar
for the school, GradeBook uses the District Calendar.
1. On the Calendar List screen, select the Schools tab.
2. On the Link Schools with Calendars screen in the Default Calendar list, select the
calendar the school will use as its default calendar.
3. Select any additional calendars the school will use, if appropriate.
4. Click Save.
