Suppression of Short-cycle Vibration
Vibration with a wavelength almost as long as the differential time results
from excessive differential control. The vibration can be suppressed
by setting the differential time to a smaller value. Set the proportional
gain to a smaller value or the PID primary delay constant to a
larger value if the vibration cannot be suppressed after the differential
time is set to 0.00.
