The paper points to unused possibilities (also in respect of regulations) of technical inspection of vehiclesand to insufficient proactive work of transport users, carriers, inspection services and government bodies. Thepurpose of this paper is to demonstrate the possibilities of achieving internationally standardised procedures whichour practitioners would be able to verify in short time.Key words: dangerous substances, armament, transport, incidents, vehicles, proceduresINTRODUCTIONTransport of dangerous substances and articles containing dangerous substances, according to the EuropeanAgreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road – ADR 6 , has to be performed underspecific, precisely defined requirements.Substances that may, due to negligent and/or unprofessional work, or an incident occurring in the course ofmanufacture, stowage, transport or handling, cause detrimental consequences for health and the environment areconsidered dangerous substances. Raw materials used to produce dangerous substances and residues that have thesame properties as such substances, are also considered dangerous substances. When a dangerous substance isinside an adequate means of transport, i.e. inside an adequate packaging, it is defined as dangerous goods.
