Seumpama(nyu)<br />

Seurnpama(nya) is used to say 'if when we know that the likelihood of<br />

the event happening is not great. Like kalau, jika and (apa)bila,<br />

seumpama can be placed at the beginning or in the middle of a<br />

sentence. The suffix -nya is optional.<br />

Seumpama dia datang, tolong beritahu saya.<br />

- If she comes, please let me know.<br />

(I don't think she wiIl come. but if she does, please tell me.)<br />

What will you say if he gets angry?<br />

Seondainyo<br />

Seandainya is similar to seumparna, but it is more formal and is<br />

usually used when we want to say that there is little likelihood of the<br />

event happening. Seandainya can be placed at the beginning or in the<br />

middle of a sentence.<br />
