On 28 October 1928. during the Youth Congress, the Indonesian Youth<br />
made a pledge that became known as Sumpah Pemuda (Youth Pledge).<br />
This pledge is a formal declaration of the existence of the Indonesian<br />
nation and the adoption of a national language (originally Malay). Hari<br />
Sumpah Pemuda (youth Pledge Day) is annually commemorated on 28<br />
