Near the 50% of the students involved in the project have medium or high
managing responsabílities ín the enterprises were they work and can not be
phisically contiguous to the monitor-professor during the teaching-learning
process.
Around the 75% of the students prefer to comunicate with the professor ‘online’
(by phone or personally) than in a differed way (near 25% by fax or email).
Each consult takes in average 20 minutes, this makes 1.5 hours of
consult per week per student.
The expected time that is going to be used in the teaching-learning process per
student is 105 weeks (near two years).
The authors think that the teaching tecnology used in this educational project is
diferent from that ones that have been used up to now. The latin-american
educational market has been traditíonally opened to new educational
experiences, and the one described in this paper allows to close the cultural
gap between Latin-America and developed countries.
