The project aimed at three central aspects:<br />
• “Improving COMMUNICATION” on a regional and<br />
transnational level<br />
• “Developing trans-national CO-OPERATION” and<br />
• “Introducing REFLEXIVE LEARNING”.<br />
The intention was both to lead regional providers to a more<br />
targeted communication process and to initiate and intensify<br />
trans-national exchange. Reflection within the learning<br />
process created possibilities to act in a communicative and<br />
co-operative way.<br />
Several project initiatives were developed: in the field of<br />
adult education (Grundtvig), e-Learning (e-Learning initiative),<br />
the course offer in the Grundtvig-Comenius catalogue<br />
(EU database) as well as the marketing activities in the scope<br />
of the annual European Week.<br />
The project was very fruitful both for the co-operation<br />
among the respective regions and for trans-national teamwork.<br />
All partners are interested in continuing the network.<br />
At the end of the project work, the last common measure<br />
will be the publication of a resolution on the significance<br />
and exigence of Lifelong Learning.<br />
II. Solutions<br />

The project fell back to a module which had been developed<br />
by Prof. Dr. W. Wittenbruch of the educational science<br />
department at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in<br />
Muenster. It had been used for more than 10 years in schoolinternal<br />
further trainings for teachers themed “Mobile<br />
Learning Workshop”.<br />
Various providers presented individual offers which<br />
they considered to be exemplary for their region. Instruments<br />
from the Mobile Learning Workshop were used to<br />
analyze, assess and verify them for their co-operation potential.Thanks<br />
to this process transfer, innovative options<br />
emerged to further develop the individual regions regarding<br />
their offers.<br />
This process turned out to be a sensible instrument as it<br />
was adequately applicable by each individual institution<br />
(keyword “course transfer”).<br />
