The overall ambition was to provide a fruitful exchange of
experiences and good practices achieved in the field of education
and training and to allow transfer of expertise in
terms of information, approaches and training services provision
for new accessing countries.
This network project included both basic activities
expected from REPEF networks and specific activities directed
to the ambitions and objectives defined for this network
European co-operation in the field of lifelong learning
should be strengthened by disseminating information
about the outputs produced by REPEF network. Most important
is thereby to ensure a self-sustainable continuation of
the network services through connections with projects like
Socrates, Grundtvig or other Joint Actions.

II. Solutions
The basic activities included, establishing and maintaining
a highly interactive web site containing best practices
reports and progress reports as one of the means to inform
project actors and interested parties visiting and actively
engaged in the R3L learning regions. Such tools have subsequently
constituted the basis for the actions implemented
by the agencies and the training centres already operating
in the areas participating in the network aiming at disseminating
useful experiences in such areas. The activities also
included organizing network-wide meetings that took the
shape of open seminars, thematic workshops and conferences
providing the opportunity to partners to actively participate
as contributors as well as highlight and promote
their best practices in the field of education and training.
As a result, agreements and commitment reports have
been drafted, outlining the modalities of developing and
maintaining the vividness of the overall network and at
national levels how to produce or mediate added-value for
actors involved in the network and users of services and
interaction opportunities provided by the network. These
documents merged together to build up a strategy document
that provides a common framework containing common
articles with the aim of securing a self-sustainable
continuation of the network services after the project period
has ended.
